Junior Auxiliary's 2nd Annual Jazzin It Up Mardi Gras Festival

The Junior Auxiliary of Ruston is proud to announce Ruston’s 2nd Annual Mardi Gras Parade & Festival: Jazzin’ It Up!
Festivities will be held in Railroad Park on Saturday, March 2nd from 11am-6pm with a family friendly parade starting at 6pm.
The parade begins at 6pm from the old Police Jury parking lot (lot next to current Tax Assessor's office) and will proceed as follows:
Down W. Alabama Avenue to N. Trenton Street
Right onto N. Trenton to W. Texas Street
Right onto W. Texas Street to S. Monroe Street
Right on S. Monroe Street to end in the public parking lot across from First Baptist Church
The festivities at Railroad Park will feature a Mardi Gras marketplace to include food trucks, live music and entertainment, local vendors, and more. Entertainment Line Up is as follows:
11:00 a.m. Anna Catherine Thompson (National Anthem)
11:15 a.m. Ruston High Jazz Band
11:45 a.m. BigSkinny Comedian
12:30 p.m. UPHY (pronounced Up High - step/dance Team)
1:00 p.m. Missy Crain Dance Group
1:30 p.m. Travis Christian
2:30 p.m. Zach O'Neal
4:00 p.m. Seth Hightower
4:30 p.m. Bo Smith
Both the festival and parade are free and open to the public. Entry fees collected from marketplace vendors, parade participants, and sponsors directly fund JA’s service projects that assist children and families in Lincoln Parish.
