Lead & Launch: The Innovation Institute
Hosted by Louisiana Tech Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in collaboration with Delta Community College and the Lincoln Parish Chamber of Commerce

Ready to turn ideas into something real? Lead & Launch is a free, hands-on summer experience designed for rising high school juniors and seniors who want to think creatively, solve problems, and explore business ideas.

Held on the campus of Louisiana Tech University, this week-long, in-person camp gives students the opportunity to work in teams, develop a business concept, learn from local entrepreneurs and community leaders, participate in field trips, and pitch their ideas on the final day.

Students will gain valuable skills in communication, problem-solving, and leadership—tools that are useful in any career path.

Camp Details:
• Who: Rising high school juniors & seniors (2026–2027 school year)
• When: June 15–19
 – Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (breakfast at 8:30 AM)
 – Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Pitch Day)
• Where: Louisiana Tech University, College of Business
 502 W. Texas Avenue, Ruston, LA (plus select off-site visits)
• Cost: Free (includes meals and camp t-shirt)
• Capacity: Limited to 30 students

Throughout the week, students will move from idea to execution—learning entrepreneurship basics, testing concepts, building a brand, and preparing a final pitch presentation.
