MLB Pitch, Hit & Run
It's time to play like a big leaguer for free! Ruston Parks and Recreation Department is again proud to host the MLB Pitch, Hit and Run competition on Saturday, May 2 at 9:30 a.m. RPAR joins over 4,000 competitions planned to take place across North America this year. Pitch, Hit & Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball and invites youth to demonstrate their skills, competing in pitching, hitting and running abilities. While the competition is co-ed, boys and girls will compete separately in four different age groups: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14. Age is determined as of July 17, 2015. The individual pitching, hitting and running champions, along with the all-around champion in each age and gender group at this Local competition will be awarded and advance to the Sectional level of competition. The local competition is free and will be held on Field #2 at the J. C. Love Softball Complex at 400 Ball Park Road.
